Green Community Program
MB Contract Furniture has made a commitment to caring for our environment since the day we opened our doors. We do this by:
- Keeping product out of the landfill
- Minimizing the use of non-renewable resources
- Minimizing the number of trucks on the road and the number of miles they travel
- Minimizing emissions in the manufacturing process and through off-gassing
- Always seeking to help our clients make the most of their existing inventories
To this end we have modeled ourselves around maintaining versatility in service and products, so that we may offer a wide variety of solutions to achieve these goals. Key to this is:
- Offering remanufactured furniture
- Promoting a wide variety of re-use options; developing relationships with key local and regional manufacturers
- Offering new products that are GreenGuard certified
- Partnering with companies for whom a primary focus is environmental stewardship, and the sustainable and low impact practices it requires and engenders.
